2010-08-29 UT3 Skin Test
This is just a test of getting a model into UT3. I used the unoptimized base mesh and only did the functional minimum when it came to skinning and unwrapping, as is evident in the final screenshot.
No update next week. I'll be away for most of it.

2010-08-15 Tim Sweeney - Zbrush - Part 1
I don't have anything witty to write. So, here is some decent progress on the first real complex model I've done in Zbrush. Things are going very smoothly.


2010-08-08 Base Mesh
Huzzah. An update. I rolled the clock back up top to account for the time this project was on hold. I should be able to get back to regular weekly updates. Today, I have the completed base mesh for Tim Sweeney. This is just the rough shaped mesh that needs be dumped into Zbrush for detailing. From there, I will edit the base mesh to meet the requirements of the low poly, game model and project the Zbrush detailing as a normal map.

Ok, it's confirmed that I will be putting The Road to Epic on hold temporarily. $3500 worth of freelance work can have that effect on me. If I'm allowed, I'll upload my main page with the work I'll be doing. Otherwise, I will be back in a couple weeks.
