I’m always amazed at the power of normal maps. I haven’t even started texturing yet.
Have you noticed that I haven’t updated in a couple days? A freelance gig had a deadline jump out from behind some bushes and stab them repeatedly, so I have been a little pre-occupied with making sure my work all gets done in time. Daily updates will continue as soon as possible.
I’m working on an art test for a potential job. I will start up again in a couple days.
Due to to some poor scheduling on my part, I won’t have a sculpt for today. But that just means you get two tomorrow!
I’m layering in details over the basic blocking that I set up last update. Gathering specific references and constructing the high poly model to try and look as functional as possible, without adding in too much superfluous stuff. I got some critiques about the hips not looking like they could hold the weight of the body, so I’ve beefed that area up a fair amount.
