Mecha Sonic and Portfolio Progress

2 years and some change later, I finally got around to finishing the Mecha Sonic model. I tried to stick as close to the original sprite’s design as I could.

And here is the current layout to my portfolio. I’m printing it out in a book from http://www.blurb.com. There are a lot of changes yet to be made, but the basic template is there, sans the Tim Sweeney skin. Let me know what you think of the selections and organization so far.

Done. Probably the most detailed thing I’ve done to date. Thanks for setting the bar, Epic. I really like the way this came out.

Also, I started some cartoony sketches of a bunch of video game characters for my wedding reception in a couple weeks. These will be used for our table toppers when complete. I’m not used to making things like this, so it actually took a long time. Heh.

Some more progress. Damnit, Epic, why are your characters so wonderfully detailed? This is taking forever but is very rewarding at the same time.

I definitely underestimated the recovery time for getting an appendix ripped out. I discovered new ways to hurt myself each day. Today was my first day back at my computer, and this chair is still managing to kick my ass.
I tried to get a little something done though.
