Crunch Week 05 – Day 4

Screwing around with Kismet (UDK’s graphical scripting tool) a lot today. Plenty of trial and error, just learning the flow of things. I got enemies spawning, preventing them going active until requirements are met, and…

This is the basic idea behind the fire wall that will exist in the full game.

This is the cleaner test map for the programmers. I’ll add elements as they’re needed. Right now, I have the aforementioned enemy spawn points, some floating platforms at the appropriate jumping height, and a pool of water that is currently causing the controls to freak out.

Lastly, here is an updated control scheme to include keyboard/mouse. Let me know what you think.
