Alrighty. My wedding reception is over, and I am pretty much recovered from surgery enough to start exercising again. I am back on track with the projects for this site.
From tonight onward, I will be continuing my weight loss plan and getting back onto Dinosaurs with Guns development.
Regarding, DwG, I originally only planned for just a small prototype and conceptualized what was necessary for that. So, there is a large gap in the design that I will be working towards filling in the coming months. Currently, there is no real story to speak of, only 1 enemy, 2 levels, and about 3 weapons. This will be remedied soon. Detailed art may be light on this site for a while, but I will share as much of the design and concepts as I can as I complete the design document.
My end goal is only tentative, but I would love to have this game available commercially in 18-24 months from now.

The team is being rebuilt, and I am currently looking for help on the programming side of things. If you know anybody willing to help, have them contact me at gary.storkamp@gmail.com or have them check out this thread on the Epic Games forums for more info and a media dump. http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/764964-Dinosaurs-with-Guns

The design philosophy for DwG is aimed at leaving the player with memorable moments of gameplay. Moments that include unique fights, beautiful locales and huge bosses.
When I say DwG will have huge bosses, I like to think I mean it. These are medium and small.

Starting November, I am going to start Crunch Weeks again. They won’t be quite as rigorous as those during the Road to Epic, but, as always, they’re my best opportunity to power through the creation of some good art content.
The Epic Art contest and reception threw off my schedule a bit, so I’ll have more pretty pictures next week along with the first additions to new Dinosaurs with Guns design document.
